The intersection of 1st Street and 7th Avenue SW has been a prominent site in Calgary’s history, having served as a central development hub for over 100 years. Today, the intersection continues to influence the city’s skyline with the recent construction of Brookfield Place and TELUS Sky.

This ambitious multi-phase renovation project aims to consolidate TELUS’ team into one unified campus along the 7th Avenue LRT line. In doing so, this project will enhance TELUS’ contribution to the public realm by creating a safe and welcoming experience for team members as well as the general public. Improved entrance lobbies, new commercial retail space, and the installation of digital art will create a continuous and vibrant street level experience along Calgary’s 7th Avenue LRT platform between Brookfield Plaza and TELUS Sky. Above street level, an ambitious facade redevelopment strategy aims to rejuvenate the Len Werry Complex while complementing the striking architecture of TELUS Sky.
