Calgary 2026 Olympic Paralympic Winter Games

Hindle Architects was responsible for completing feasibility studies for a selection of potential Athlete’s Village locations under consideration for the Calgary 2026 Bid Corporation’s pursuit of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Each strategy was required to accommodate residential and functional programming for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, as well as future requirements associated with market, rental, and affordable housing. In total, the study incorporated the provision of 1,200 units (4,345 beds during The Games) of residential accommodation across three separate sites.
