Burns Building Studio
Hindle Architects has opened a new studio at The Burns Building. Originally constructed in 1912, and expanded prior to the 1988 Winter Olympics, this provincially designated heritage building was originally home to an urban market at ground floor, with office spaces above. Today, the Burns Building forms an integral part of the Stephen Avenue streetscape, bringing quality and vibrancy to Olympic Plaza and the Arts Commons Campus.
Our open plan studio is designed to support our collaborative and interactive working method. Enclosed breakout and meeting spaces allow for ‘privacy on demand’. At the heart of the studio, next to the building’s daylit atrium, is an informal dining area that serves as a daily gathering space for our tight-knit team.
